Where is Computer Works located?
Computer Works is located at 405 Hampshire Street in Quincy, IL. We are directly across the street from Washington Park. Our offices are open from 8 AM until 5 PM Monday through Friday (excluding major holidays). Not sure if we're in? Please call us at 217-224-1812.
When is Computer Works open?
Computer Works is open Monday through Friday, between 8 AM and 5 PM. We are available after hours and on Saturday by appointment or for emergencies. To setup an appointment please contact us at 217-224-1812.
When can I expect my order?
We will always ship your order from the closest location to you. This will allow most orders to be received within 2 or 3 business days. Shipping may be expedited if necessary and please add specific shipping instructions to the comments field when you are checking out. All shipping prices on this site reflect standard or ground shipping. PLEASE NOTE: Out of state orders WILL NOT be charged sales tax. Orders in Illinois will be charged 7.75% sales tax
How do I return my product if it is defective?

We'll need the following information to authorize your return:
· Customer name
· Customer number
· Invoice number or order number
· Item serial number(s)
· The number of items being returned
· Whether the product box has been opened
· Nature of the problem
In general, Computer Works accepts returns on merchandise from select manufacturers within 10 days. However, Computer Works reserves the right to authorize product returns beyond 10 days from the invoice date. IF the product is accepted after 10 days, credit will be issued toward FUTURE PURCHASES ONLY. Original shipping charges are not refunded on returned items. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges back to Computer Works on returned items, and Computer Works will pay the shipping charges on the replacement or exchange item(s) going back.
Returns within 10 days from invoice date can be for exchange, replacement refund or credit at Computer Works's discretion. Please be aware that specific manufacturers have more restrictive return policies.
If your return merchandise is accepted, we will post a credit to your Computer Works account within 24 hours from the time that we receive the product(s) in our facility. Each return is credited in the same manner as payment. If you paid for your order with a credit card, the credit will be applied to that card. You will be able to verify the credit by calling your credit card company. If you paid for your order with a check, a refund check will be issued within 10 business days from the date the returned product is received by Computer Works' receiving department. If you have a terms account, the amount of your return will be credited to your Computer Works account.
Who do I call for technical support for my purchased items?

For post sale technical support you may contact our technical team at 217-224-1812 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, Central Standard Time. You may also email us for technical support requests.
How do I get warranty service on my purchased product?
All products are warrantied by their respective manufacturers. Computer Works representatives are happy to assist you in finding warranty coverage and where applicable, we can facilitate warranty repairs.
What if the product I've ordered is no longer available?
We reserve the right to cancel any order due to product discontinuation or unavailability.
Is my personal information safe?
We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.
How is my information kept secure?
Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read online.
